Presentation to my local Parks and Recreationj Advisory Commission on the economic impact of parks

I am developing a study of the impact of neighborhood parks on the market value of single-family homes near those parks. I plan to present this at the next meeting of the Hamilton Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission.

Several studies going back decades have independently verified and validated the proposition that well-maintained and well-used parks increase market values of nearby homes, while poorly-maintained, and poorly-used parks do just the opposite.
